Here are a few resources to help you prepare your trip.

Do you need a passport?

If you need to apply for a passport, click here for all the information. As of January 2024, you need to count 6-8 weeks (officially) to get your passport. To be safe, I would count 10 weeks.

Travel Information by Country

For information related to visas, specific-information about your destination, potential dangers, we recommend going to the State Department travel website. The website also gives you the phone numbers and contacts you will need for emergencies.

Travel Advisories

The Department of State also lists the different levels of caution to exercise when traveling. We will keep an eye on this for you, but you are welcome to check the list as well.

Medical Advisories

For medical and health information, we recommend going to the Centers for Disease Control website at cdc.gov/travel, then click on "Destinations" and scroll to the name of the destination country.
